CERTIMP.EXE
Utility CertImp.exe becomes the import of certificates e.g. with a manual T2U-dienst
Installation used (see manual Setup of the T2U-dienstes). Additionally one can also
Assistance of the CertImp.exe utility a certificate memory (Certificate net curtain) delete.
CertImp.exe has three variants of the call:
With the first call an existing certificate memory is deleted:
CertImp.exe D sl: sn:
With second a certificate from the file is imported into the certificate memory:
CertImp.exe < file name > [ - sl: ] [ - sn: ] [ - n ]
One can use arbitrary CERIUM as < file name > -, Ctl or CRL file.
For importing the PFX file a third call is used:
CertImp.exe < file name > < password > [ - pk: ] [ - sl: ]
[ - sn: ] [ - n ]
PFX files contain certificates with the private key. These data are coded.
The password for decoding < password > is to follow as next parameters.
The meaning of the remaining keys is down described:
· the key pk: is optional. Its default value is user.
That means it that after importing the current user more privately
Key is assigned. Alternatively machine can be used. Through pk:
exportable can be stored the private key as exportabel. Otherwise becomes
one not in the situation its, the private key of the computer again into one
To store file.
· the key sn: defines the name of the certificate memory
(Certificate net curtain). It is important to know that most the standard
Certificate memory located names have. For example the certificate memory becomes
"own certificates" in English as "personnel" indicated. It acts however over
the same certificate memory. One sees that best on the English
Windows XP/Windows of 2003 servers with German LANGUAGE luggage (MUI). One can
simply change the language of the operating system for a user and after
change for the new registration the names of all certificate memory without
Change of contents. Each standard certificate memory has an internal name.
As < net curtain name > this name is to be used. For example, My instead of own ones
Certificates or personnel.
· the key sn: defines the Lokation of the certificate memory.
Possible values are: CurrentUser, LocalMachine, CurrentService,
CurrentUserGroupPolicy, LocalMachineEnterprise, LocalMachineGroupPolicy,
Services, users. For the work with T2U one needs however only CurrentUser or
LocalMachine.
· the key n is to be used only if a new certificate memory, e.g..
